We have come to an impass

Tue Jun 23, 2009, 10:14 AM
Sorry for the lack of updates lately for those who actually look at this but, I have come to come to an impass as of late. The torso is finished for the most part but something still seems missing and I can't tell what. For now I will put some armor on the bionic leg and get ready to build the powered claw for the right hand and the full gun arm for the left.

If anyone of you other deviants out there can give me some ideas they would be greatly appriciated.

Looks like the cyborg is coming along well, I'm looking forward to seeing more of mechanical elements. did you sculpt the skull?
:iconbloodhammer:
First off, thanks for the compliment. I already have more of thehuman leg done and will be moving on to the cybernetic leg soon.
As for the skull unfortunately no, I did not sculpt it. It is from the Games Workshop Inquisitor range. Not sure which models though.

Cool stuff, I look forward to seeing the progress. I just wondered about the skull because you mentioned selling the casts. Do you have plans to cover most of the skull? (No worries if not.) do you have any sketches to show what the end product will look like? keep up the good work.
:iconbloodhammer:
Thanks again.
Yes, at least a portion of the skull will be covered by bionics so I should not have any trouble there. I t will also be a small enough run that it should'nt attract any attention. Unforntuately I don't have any sketches (at least none worth noting). I have never been that good with two dimentional mediums but could sculpt and fabricate fairly well. So the only place I have the end game is in my head.

Nice progress on the skull, I think this is going to be one scary cyborg, cant wait to see more pics.

Thanks for all the favs!

No problem man. I have been playing WM since 2003 and most likely picked it up from one of the first stores to stock it on the East Coast. I love all of the stuff that you have done concepts for.

On a side note looking through your stuff I saw the concepts for the Kayazy and looking at the models I think that most of the models look great. The one holding the cloak has a slight Mr. Potato Head syndrome but is otherwise okay, and to be honest, I don't know what happen with the leader.

Anywho, check my comment under your Necrotech picture, and good luck with the coming year.
